Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volumising Mousse Review

Hey guys, how is everyone doing? It's nearly the weekend, yay! So for today I thought I'd do a quick but honest review of the Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volumising Mousse which I purchased from Fragrance Direct for £1.49.

I have extremely fine hair and not much of it so I always need a little volume boost adding to my hair otherwise I look like someone has gone over my head with an iron. Sadly this product was not the one to give me the big bouncy hair that I wanted. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad product, it doesn't leave hair sticky and gross but it just doesn't do all that much to my hair. I did notice a little more volume than usual but not enough for me to buy it again. I'm glad I only paid a small amount for it otherwise I'd have been really annoyed. Hair products have changed a lot recently and it seems that mousse may be a bit old hat for the Chelsea Blowout that everyone expects these days. Anyway, I'm still on the search for anything that'll add volume to my hair and make my hair look this:

What's your favourite hair styling product?

  1. Such a shame that this didn't work that well for you:( My favorite hair styling product is a leave in conditioner from Aussie, as it really helps to prevent my hair from becoming dry or frizzy!xx

    1. I might have to have a raid of Boots for the Aussie conditioner, my hair has been so dry recently. I love the smell of their products. Don't forget you can subscribe to the Slightly Skint Blog on Bloglovin'.

  2. I can understand why it's on Fragrance Direct for £1.49 if it's pretty cruddy like you say! Shame, but at least it wasn't a massive loss :)

    1. £1.50 wasn't too much to spend to try something out really but I swear I saw the same product in Boots for nearly £4 the other day. I could be wrong though but if they are still selling it at full price then it's ridiculous!

  4. I've not found a mousse that works for my hair, I think it's just too stubborn and big bouncy locks will never be mine. At least this wasn't super sticky, they're the worst!

    1. I've gone through so many volume boosting products only to come out with either sticky hair or my hair looking absolutely the same. It's annoying but I'll always be trying to find something that works for me :L

  5. I'm still yet to find a mousse that I really like. Although, the Fat Hair range in superdrug does a pretty good volumising mousse so you'll have to have a look at that!

Did you know that in the film Toy Story, Sid's hallway carpet is the same design as the hallway carpet in The Shining? That's well creepy.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeres Jonny!
